“Berlin”

Berlin's puppies are F1B Standard Bernedoodles. This means they are 75% Standard Poodle and 25% Bernese Mountain Dog, as Berlin is 50/50 of those two breeds since her dam was Standard Poodle and her sire is a Bernese Mountain Dog, and Knox, the sire of Berlin's litter, is a Standard Poodle. There are 13 pups still available in this litter. Since both parents are in the 60 pounds range, their puppies will probably be about that size when fully grown, but keep in mind their grandma Poodle was only 45 pounds, and grandpa Bernese Mountain Dog was over 100 pounds, so one or two pups in this litter could mature closer to those sizes, too, the males generally being larger than the females, but not always. Since this litter is mostly Poodle, we can anticipate more traits of the Poodle, including more of the wavy, curly, non-shedding, and hypo-allergenic coat qualities than the 50/50 Bernedoodles usually have. This litter will also mature to be intelligent, charming, extremely faithful, loving, fun, highly trainable, and PRECIOUS. Our Bernedoodles are $2,000, and we offer a 10% military and veteran discount, and delivery to Sandpoint, CDA, Spokane, and Boise is FREE! Puppies in this litter are ready for pickup and delivery now, and shipping will be available to some areas after September 12th. Puppies will come with a health guarantee, pedigree, parents’ health testing results, a bag of food, a chew toy with the litter’s scent, a collar, and an ID tag.

Berlin is a black traditional tri-color F1 (first generation) Standard Bernedoodle who is about 68 pounds and 24" high at the shoulders. She's black with copper points and white tuxedo markings, the same color and pattern as the Bernese Mountain Dog (BMD or "Berner"), though like her dam, her puppies can come in a variety of colors and patterns. Berlin's copper points were very dark at first, and they've lightened over the years. Her color and health testing were done through Paw Print Genetics, which is merging with OriVet. While most Bernedoodles are not registered, Berlin’s dam was an AKC registered Standard Poodle, and Berlin’s sire is an AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog. Berlin is a puppy we kept out of our precious "Kippi", aka "Kippurah", who has since passed on, and we're so glad we kept Berlin as pick of the litter, as we see Kippi in Berlin everyday, and we got to have the joy of watching Berlin blossom from the womb. Berlin's sire, "Buddy", lives in Alaska, and he is a really cool guy who is a service dog for a war veteran. Berlin definitely gets her "burly" (her nickname) qualities from her sire, though despite his size, he's a gentle giant and devoted guardian dog over his baby chicks. Berlin also gets her low prey drive and guardian traits from him. Her mom loved to hunt and chase after birds, though, she was great with baby goats and sheep we socialized her with. Berlin's number one pastime is being attached to her favorite person - our daughter- and next would be zooming on the trails or begging for the occasional donut. She's a true velcro dog and will follow us all around the house - especially her favorite person. She's muscular and broad and very athletic, though not hyper. Inside she's mostly lazy and content to be petted all day, staring adoringly into someone's eyes.

Sire - Hamilton “Knox”

Knox comes to us from Boise Doodle Co. Our thanks to Laura for allowing us to add this gentleman to our family and breeding program. Thankfully, she was looking to downsize at the same time we were searching for the perfect future sire of our precious Poodles and Bernedoodles. He's a wonderful addition. Knox is a chocolate sable parti-tri with copper points, more specifically, bb kyky atat spsp. This means he's a colorful guy that can throw a variety of rich colors and patterns. He is 60 pounds and about 25" high at the shoulders.  Knox is AKC registered and health tested through Embark. His results are clear. His eyes have been examined (CAER) and OFA and PennHIP completed. Knox is a well-rounded, confident, intelligent, and loving guy. He loves his favorite toy. He carries it around, sleeps with it, and throws it around while playing by himself or trying to tempt the girls in the pack to play with him. He likes to play tug-of-war with it, too. He enjoys rides in the truck, going for walks, or a run on the trails, and he's good off leash and doesn't have a habit of pulling on the leash, either. Sometimes he gets in a goofy mood, and other times he's Mr. Chill. He will alert when something unusual is going on outside, but he's amazingly quiet and stops barking quickly when told to. He listens well, and like our other dogs, is an easy keeper.
